For Geeks: How to export an Algorand account from the PlanetWatch App

In this article you’ll learn how to export your Algorand Account from the PlanetWatch App and import it in the Algorand Wallet App, or in MyAlgo and in AlgoSigner.

How to import your account in the Algorand App

• Download the official Algorand App for Android or iOS;
• Click on “Add wallet” and then on “Recover from Passphrase“;
• Write all the 25 words, with spaces, generated when you linked your sensor to the PlanetWatch App;
• Click on “Verify“.

How to import your account in My Algo Website

• Go on My Algo official site and click on “Access“;
• Create a Password;
• Click on “Add Wallet” and then on “Import Phrase“;
• Write all the 25 words, with spaces, generated when you linked your sensor to the PlanetWatch App;
• Click on “Import Wallet“.

How to import your account in the AlgoSigner Chrome extension

• Open Google Chrome, then install the AlgoSigner extension;
• Click on “Get Started” and then on “Add an Account“;
• Click on “Import Existing Account” and create a new password;
• Write all the 25 words, with spaces, generated when you linked your sensor to the PlanetWatch App (make sure you don’t click outside the AlgoSigner window, otherwise you will have to resume the process from the start!)
• Click on “Grant Access“;
• Click on the wallet address and then on “Sign!“;
• Insert the password that you have created for AlgoSigner and then click on “Continue“.
