PlanetWatch, built on the Algorand protocol, is collaborating with Envision Racing, one of the top teams in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, to allow them to monitor air quality at races around the world, including Berlin, Monaco, Jakarta, Portland, Rome, and London.
PlanetWatch will analyze the data from the different cities where the races are taking place and present a study of what the air quality looks like in the various racing locations during a special Envision Racing event that is taking place in Rome later this year.
Airqino sensors, the same used by thousands of PlanetWatchers worldwide, will be used to monitor the outdoor air quality the racing team and fans breathe in preparation and race days.
The collaboration between PlanetWatch and Envision Racing is beneficial not only for the racing team and fans but also for the local communities. By monitoring the air quality, PlanetWatch is raising awareness of the importance of clean air and is encouraging organizations from all sectors – whether public authorities or companies – to take action to improve outdoor and indoor air quality.
